WAST (Women Asylum Seekers Together) gave a workshop to students at Salford University and have been invited back to give another one.

WAST is targeting Keel University next !

Women asylum seekers in Greater Manchester supporting and empowering each other and campaigning for rights and justice for women in the asylum process.

WAST drop-in's every Friday
10.30 am and 2.30 pm in the crèche room (ground floor) - Women's Electronic Village Hall, Ada House, 77 Thompson Street, Manchester, M4 5FY.

* Light lunch/ refreshments 
* Children welcome
* Bus fare refunded (for women asylum seekers from Greater Manchester) 
* Access in office for computer with broadband internet facility 
* Information and support on setting up anti deportation campaigns 
* Confidential space for talking. 




Programme :

10.30am to11.00am - WAST news, organizing future events and work to be shared. 
11.00am to  2.30pm - Informal support meeting to discuss relevant issues including existing as well as future anti deportation campaigns.
